Probably my only play this week in NCAA: Missouri +14
I was on Auburn against Alabama last week and that loss was hard to swallow. I guess I was right when I said that Alabama D was not good, but that was not enough to overcome some stupid decisions by Auburn. Missouri defense looks solid and played well after the Georgia debacle. Missouri has 1 day of rest more than Alabama and that is huge especially because of the type of game Alabama played against their big rival Auburn. Tons of energy and emotions left on the field in the 2nd half of that game. Alabama is 0-5 ATS in last 5 on regular rest after facing Auburn including two straight ATS losses in SEC Championship games. They are also 2-9 ATS in last 11 on regular rest after a revenge win. Missouri lost big in last years Championship game but gained valuable experience.

Ok, adding this big play and that is it for this week in NCAA:

Oklahoma State +19
In this series, team with better record is 1-18-1 ATS if winner of 2 or more straight and opponent is not a winner of more than 3 straight. Oklahoma State was in this situation last season when they lost to Oklahoma, now it is Oklahoma's turn. By the way, favorites lost both games between these two teams played in week 15. Once it was Oklahoma State (-10, last year) and the other time it was Oklahoma (-15 in 2002).

Final card:
Missouri +14 big play
Oklahoma State +19 big play

I really respect your opinions, but Please don't bet against Bama this week. That's all I am going to say. Good luck with your other plays.

LOL, my largest play last year was a two-teamer, I bet the entire season's winnings on Auburn in the Nat Champ game and Bama in the Sugar Bowl. Remember how that went?

Totally different set of circumstances. Alabama was in a huge let down spot there. Who the hell cares about the Sugar Bowl when you lost on a fluke play in the last second when you had a chance to 3-peat?

Food for thought here - Mizzou has beaten one team with a winning SEC record in the past two years. The East is the worst it has ever been. They are truly a paper tiger who will be exposed. Play them in the first half if you must but this team can't hold Bama's jock strap. If they show up and play at 75% of their potential they will win in a blow out. Also, you better believe Bama's defense will be looking to lay a serious beating after giving up so many yards last week. I would stay far away from Mizzou.

Obviously ALSportsJunkie has a major league bias on this game...... but that does not mean he is not right.

Missou is a joke and vastly inferior to several teams in NCAA football.... on either side of the ball.

Smoke and mirrors... and the smoke and mirrors could continue.... but not likely.

Of course I am biased, but I don't blindly bet on Bama. Historically Bama has been a bad team against the spread. I routinely bet against them in the cupcake games and on back to back road SEC games. This isn't one of those times. I am not unloading on them - but IMO making a big wager on Mizzou is a bad decision. I prefer to bet on teams hoping they will play well - if you bet on Mizzou you are betting on Bama to play bad. Bama can play badly and still win. If they play well they will win by 20+ easily. Tell me who Mizzou has who can beat Bama deep? They have a decent running, but so did LSU and Arkansas. Anyone think they can muster half the defense of those schools? If Mizzou makes just one mistake they will lose and lose badly.

That, my friend, is some serious horseshittery. This year, beat Florida, KY-jelly, Arkansas, last time I checked, all three had winning records, or at least bowl eligible, lol. Yeah, left out UT, what can I say, got three sibs that went there, and I had to play in Neyland twice. You ever see the movie "Gladiator?" Mizzou went into Neyland and beat the Vols, you don't think that means something this year, you don't know football. GL

Teams with a winning SEC record brother. Go back and recheck your facts. Or don't and load up on Mizzou - I could care less just trying to help.

Missouri beat Geogia last year - that is the only team from the SEC east that they have beaten in two years who finished with a positive record in conference.

Seeing 14+ at almost all the offshores, and slight consensus on Mizzou. Who's got a Pinny account, would like to see their movement. TIA

Not well - I guess if you are a trend and angles kind of player Mizzou looks good. I am a situational/match up kind of guy and I think Bama is the play. No reason we can't disagree. I didn't mean to hijack Pargas thread so I will leave my opinions at that.

Don't want to argue tmader7..... but, the fact is..... The Vols were such a young and fragile team this year that your comparison is shaky in my opinion. This year playing in Neyland was nothing like..... I mean NOTHING like playing a real Vol team down there!

This is a game like any other game, at least for me. Why ? Because I am a gambler. I try not to watch games I bet on. If it wins it is OK. If it loses, there is always tomorrow. No need to go back and forth guys, agree that you do not agree and move on !

Man, it's all good, that's why they call this a "forum." You're supposed to debate. Vols had the 35th best D in the country this year, if Josh had been QB from the outset, might have played some pretty good O. Don't get me wrong, I hate the MoFo's with every black and gold artery/vein in my body. I played on that field twice, you got 105K screaming rednecks, half of them drunk, it's imposing. Yep, Bama won there, 34-20, Mizzou 29-21. I'm just saying, Sims is not the same out of his sandbox. You can't see that, then you need to lose some money. GL
