Very typical first weekend in numbers. The dogs are always the better bets early on, but come next weekend start loading up on the favorites. I think one of the strongest trends is taking the favorite to cover the Elite 8 round, if I remember right over a long period of time they cover at nearly 63%. Once you get closer to big games and you thin the field out into more quality teams, you get more predictable results with the good teams led by good coaches going out of their way to put away poor teams. The totals usually shade under in the first round when you get a lot of tight and nervous players and then start going over as players get back into normal rhythms until the Final 4 when the dome effect kicks in and pushes the totals back down.

UAB can beat an average Kansas team I am thinking. I don't think KU is as talented at the guard as they have been so they are susceptible to the press.

Wolfpack still getting no respect, they are a damn good team that has won despite only occasional contributions from their best player. If Snyder decides to take a game into his hands from start to finish they could be that much better.

Two sets of dome games, might look to play the unders there.

i had 2nd round as favs 4-10 and 2 games were pick em (which team did you have as fav pitt or illinois?)

Also teams that are playing next week are 21-9 so far ATS in the tourney... And that includes 0-2 from St Joes,Ga Tech and Wake Forest. Im not sure what that means but thats what they are.

For the games that closed pick I used the opening line I can't remember which team in the early round, but believe the other was Pitt. Vs Wisc. today, Wisc was minus 1. I used North Carolina as a 1 point favorite yesterday. Illinois I used as a 1 point favorite for record keeping.
