And I am in *NO* way surpised that he needs Washington here. Mets NEED a win, they SHOULD be better, and Joe Public is thinking the same thing "No way Mets lost 3 of 4 to the Nats". Ignoring the fact that the past 3 games mean nothing... and the fact that a team SHOULDN'T lose 3 of 4 to the basement dwelling Nats doesn't mean after losing 2 of 3 they WON'T lose the 4th... however Joe Public doesn't think that way...

Mets - Nats are a lay off game for me. Mets SHOULD be the far superior team but they are very fragile right now. Nats are playing good ball and are under the skin of the Mets (and a lot of other teams) right now.

If I HAD to pick a side I would go with the Nats simply for the + money but it is layoff for me.

I like the Braves big time today and have them large on my card.
