Don't know why they wouldnt think the public would back Pitt. SD is 39-65 with a 16-35 record on the road, while the Pirates have a 48-55 record and 30-23 record at home.. seems to me that the Pirates are easily capable of being a public play. In fact most sites I have looked at show that the Pirates are getting lopsided action, but I will say the pitcher they are sending out Van Benschoten is one of the worst I have seen pitch in the big leagues this season.
