I think you guys might be a little too hard on Big Ben...you gotta remember this is his SECOND year in the league. Give th e guy a few years, he'll continue to mature and develop as a QB. Can't hold him to such high standards because of last year's accomplishments. Gotta keep things in perspective. Just my opinion...I'm not saying he definitely will or definitely won't be a top-flight QB in the NFL, it could really go either way; my point is he deserves more than a year and 3 games to be so hard on him and start to expect Brady-like production.

Big Ben is a very solid QB,has balls and not afraid to make plays. I think he has more potential than Manning. He is already better than last year.

He seems a lot better than Manning to me also. From day one, this kid just acted the part, like he knew he belonged as an NFL QB. He is very solid. Manning.....I don't know. He still seems like a lost kid at times, and doesn't have the composure of his brother. I like Big Ben. He's no Brady, but then again who is?

Manning has looked extremely sharp so far this season. The guy has pocket presence and can make all the throws, and has really bailed the Giants out at times. He hasn't even started a full year yet, but I think he DEFINITELY looks the part.

It'll be interesting to see how Rivers does once he gets his shot(god knows when that'll be). Big Ben and Manning figure to be very good for a very long time, so the pressure's definitely gonna be on Rivers.

Keep in mind that I hate the Giants, so for me to give Manning his due actually means something. But the motherfucker has impressed me so far, unfortunately. Hopefully Sean Taylor will decapitate him when we play them.

Oh, and the only reason I think people say Manning doesn't "look the part" is because of those huge eyes and generally retarded look he always has. He looks like a half-scared, half-mentally retarded 12-year-old 24/7. But he can sure throw a football.

good post Ill...Manning and the colts should be 1-2 not 3-0 I can not believe the "vaunted" manning ahs thrown 0 TD passes in 2 games (maybe 3) Pathetic...but they got Lucky and LUCK plays a big roll in the NFL

exactly hawkeye.

15-1 doesnt mean anything, a team could do that with trent dilfer

Trent Dilfer is still being bashed?

If the Ravens had kept Dilfer, they would have had at least one more Super Bowl or 2-3 more playoff wins by now.

I can name 10 starting QB in the NFl who are worse than Dilfer.

Did anyone notice that the Pat receivers made several "great" catches and didnt drop any ordinary ones. Steelers didnt come up with any catches that could have been considered a "great" one and dropped several that would have been no more than average. It's a TEAM game! Ben is not a superstar yet but give him some time and he will be. Despite his fantastic record he is still a KID for heaven sakes. In my younger days there was a saying....."five years to make a quarterback". I know that is a bit dated now as many colleges are running pro style offenses but it still takes more than a year. Remember, Brady wasnt a superstar in his 1st couple of years either.

Pitt WR's were terrible today. Dropped quite a few passes. Ben did miss a few throws but he didn't play THAT bad. He also had pressure in his face all day long while Brady had 7 seconds to find an open guy. Biggest difference in the game was the Pats got pressure on the QB and the Steelers didn't. If the Steelers don't pressure the QB, you can pick their secondary apart. Same story around here for 10 years. Steelers tried all kinds of blitzes but just couldn't get to Brady.
