It's not about the poll numbers for the Repubs. The Repubs selected her for the women vote. Women don't look at poll numbers to make up their minds. They see one of them doing relatively well and appearing intelligent and not completely fucking up and that's enough for them to vote for her.

CNN I feel is more neutral than MSNBC (the Obama Channel) or Fox but it does have a definite left wing bias. Fox has the debate score Palin 86%.
Biden 12%. Palin definetely won easily but the 86 to 12 does show most Fox viewers lean right.

I think you misunderstood what I was getting at. McCain and the Repubs chose Palin to get more of the women's vote. They want to get more of the female votes that Obama was getting. I never meant to say that women favor McCain.
