LOL-boy there must be a lot of irrational Canadians if these are the news headlines about this action. who's brainwashed?

The death of Keystone XL would be a blow to workers and communities along the pipeline’s route

Why did Joe Biden revoke Keystone XL permit? Canadian leaders tell PM Trudeau they're 'ready for war' with US

Cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline starts Biden and Canada on the wrong foot

Canadian officials say they're disappointed that President Biden revoked the Keystone XL Pipeline permit

Biden’s plan to cancel Keystone pipeline signals a rocky start with Canada

Canadian pol rips Biden admin for canceling Keystone Pipeline

Wow, you mean Fox News went out of their way and created all these lies? Damn

You know what's funny? All one really has to do is think, something the spoonfed buffoons are incapable of.

If permits are pulled and thousands of high paying jobs are lost, people are going to be angry, politicians are going to be angry, families are going to be angry.... people don't like their lives being stolen from them by a stroke of the pen.

Really really really clueless wonders call this "fake news" and blame it on Fox, too damn funny

All one has to do is THINK. A mind is such a terrible thing to waste

Although I suppose if you don't understand economics 101 or what good paying jobs means to people, you'll never grasp this concept

The same thing happened in Trump’s America in the coal industry from 2016 through 2020.

https://twitter.com/CNN/status/1190482704321667072?s=20

hard working Americans that gave up their health to continue lining the pockets of American Oligarchs supported Trump and Republicans in their short term effort supporting a dying industry, and in the end, because it was never about the “jobs,” the industry is still dying
and will die off in time.

of course a person who loses his job is going to be initially frustrated, annoyed, spiteful but renewable energy will create even more jobs and allow for the earth we currently reside on to prosper for generations to come.

And yes, Canadian politicians that join Fox News for a segment, are all Trump esque political sycophants in the mold of what we have here in America.

No legitimate news agency would have these sycophants spewing their lies on the airwaves besides Fox News & other far right propaganda networks.

How is government mandated renewable energy working out for Germany? Their utility costs are almost 3x ours. If I had to pay 3x what I pay right now in utility I'm storming the capitol (just kidding if the FBI is reading!)

Nuclear is the answer bro, but lefty donors/crony capitalists can't make much $ off it so we gotta pretend the "Green Dream" (as Pelosi calls it) is the answer

I don’t think you can make that conclusion in the industry’s infancy.

Hell, TV’s cost thousands of dollars just 20 years ago, now you can get a 75 inch television for $500 bucks.

the industry will become more efficient, the cost will go down, and there will be more jobs and more money earned by the common man as a result.

meh, kinda discussion for another time but promises of battery storage and renewables been around for awhile now

not saying it doesn't have any value but basically giving these industries a blank check to change the countries energy consumption patterns on the fly just won't work

I'll say this, if you're gonna do that then pitch it to Americans in an honest way about what the sacrifices are that will be needed to change CO2 emissions. But once you do that, you're basically asking 330m people to curb their lifestyles when the rest of the world really isn't and it is just a no go.

Dems wanna pitch the promising part (more jobs, new economy) rather than the sacrificial/compromising part. Most politicians do for obvious reasons, but that is basically the dilemma here.

And haven't they failed at this already? Trying to impose their stupid ideas on society doesn't work

Capitalism and time does. When technology is good enough, society will move

I laugh at career politicians who never fixed any problem thinking they can micromanage the world

Bizarre

Take 20 minutes to read up on Germany, they basically tried their little green new deal.....Highest utility prices in industrialized world

and for what? China/India don't care, they build a new coal plant like once a week

right, just like Obamacare needs the masses to commit to make a better healthcare system for all, renewable energy needs a commitment from more than just Germany to be successful.

America setting the tone and leading the developed world into the future of energy would be just what the doctor ordered to resolve the issues you’ve pointed out today.

before Trump / the pasty white, toothless, racist fat fvcks of America had a voice, this is what America stood for as the leaders of the free world and the most powerful country on the planet.
