interesting opportunity to reinvent the Hill would be an amendment that would force reps to no longer own individual stocks but still able to invest into market-based ETFs but also make their votes on every bill untraceable and anonymous
theoretically this would eliminate the buying and selling of politicians by foreign governments and special corporate interests as they would not be able to financially benefit on siding with companies for contracts and nobody would know how they voted on any bill. the reason nobody gets voted out of office is that the special interest groups and foreign orgs (like AIPAC and Soros) fund them to make sure they stay in power
