I have asked to be taken down several days ago. With OR WITHOUT my refund.

He has NO CONTRACT WITH BHB. Contrary to popular belief.

I am willing to pay him his FULL RETAIL price for the exposure I have recieved on his site. (NOT my discounted rate) That more than fair.

WHY are they keeping me hostage there? Just take my banners down.

That guy over there has about as much self respect as a gay prostitute. One of his advertisers asks to be taken down, and he keeps them up. what a joke. If i owned a business, and someone was badmouthing me, and asking me to terminate business, out of self respect and personal pride, his banners would be down yesterday. Another example of what a joke he is. lol.

Surfboard, I dont want them there for a few reasons. One, his site has few if any real players. Two, he bad mouthes a friend of mine. (outright lies). and three, Its our choice.

He has no right to keep our banners up and continue charging us. We paid the year in advance under good faith that he would geet us a return on our money. Because we prepaid the year we did pay a reduced rate. (only if we got a full years exposure)

We could and can pay the full retail price for the 2.5 months of exposure we have recieved. Thats what we are willing to pay.

There is no contract with him. We want off his site. Now.

Minnow posted elsewhere that if he gets an official email from you all, he will pull them. Says he hasn't got that.

Don't think there was any mention of refund.

Puhleaze Scott. You have absolutely no way of knowing how many "real players" do or don't post @ MW, no one does---not even the owners. Stop talking out of your ass and stick to things you know.

GotBookie.com - A little advice:

One thing I have learned in the sometimes cut-throat world of business:

He who has the money in his/her possession has the CONTROL.

In this case unfortunately this guy has your advanced monthly payments, so he is control.

An Honorable business man MAY of respected your wishes and given a refund or maybe not but...

Business is usually influenced with SHREWED trickery between 2 parties engaged in a business deal.

So you need to LOOK OUT for yourself ahead of time and ALWAYS expect the WORSE from the other party. Then a situation like this would NOT of had an opportunity to unfold.

Please take this advice and try to use it in your next business deal in the FUTURE.

Good Luck and ALWAYS cover your ass.

If you paid for a year up front and now want your banners down they should take them down, but don't owe you a refund.

If you don't have a contract then you don't have a leg to stand on. I would lean toward MW that if you paid a year up front then you expected a year of advertising, but w/o a written contract you are just screwed.

BHB.. Just send MW the required email stating your request to be removed, you have already stated that you don't want the money back and then see what happens from there, if MW still doesn't remove it after that then that shows the type person(s) advertisers are stuck with if dealing with MW.

I have been told that at least HALF of the sports books don't pay to be displayed there, so removing a sports book would make them appear to have less sponsors...

That's the ONLY reason which can explain why a business would not take down a company asking to have no affiliation with them...
