December 2, 2004 -- Online gaming pioneer WWTS (World Wide Tele-Sports) today announced that the company’s sports betting site BetWWTS.com was voted the top sportsbook of 2004 by the readers of Gambling Online Magazine (GOM). The Readers’ Choice Award is the top attainable honor for an online sportsbook and was determined by polling over 35,000 online gamblers from around the world.

In addition to collecting the Readers’ Choice Award, BetWWTS.com also received the prestigious Editor’s Pick as the top sportsbook in 2004 from the publication. BetWWTS.com collected four Honorable Mentions in the 2004 GOM Awards including: Quickest Payouts, Top Sportsbook Reputation, Top Sportsbook Customer Service and Top Sportsbook Software.

WWTS managed properties earned a total of ten GOM Awards for 2004. BetCasino.com collected three Honorable Mentions for Top New Casino, Top New Site Concept and Top Casino Software. Meanwhile the company’s new poker room, BetHoldem.com, collected the highest honor for Top Poker Software by those polled.

“Our readers have acknowledged what our editors and those in the industry have known for over a decade – WWTS provides the finest online gaming has to offer,” said Eric Morris, Publisher of Gambling Online Magazine. “BetWWTS.com is the 2004 undisputed champion of sportsbooks, earning top honors from both our readers and editors. With BetCasino.com and BetHoldem.com earning awards in their first year online, there’s little doubt that WWTS stands at the forefront of the industry.”

“Anytime our company receives an award we’re thrilled, but when the honor is determined by several thousand online players it’s especially rewarding,” said Stuart Doyle, wagering director of BetWWTS.com. “Although we earned a number of Readers’ Choice Awards for several of our managed properties in 2004, we aren’t sitting on our laurels and are already planning several improvements to make next year even more successful.”

Earlier this year, WWTS was named to eGaming Review Magazine’s Power 25 recognizing the most influential Internet gaming operators in the world. WWTS is part of the BetCorp Group that is publicly-traded on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). For additional information, please visit www.betwwts.com.

Quality book no doubt, but still not quite the same since Bill Scott sold his interest. Always appreciated Bill's willingness to speak with his customers and his joy for this business.

Well, I was REALLY IMPRESSED with their security measures when requesting a payout. Certaintly was top of the line and other books should look into coping their methods. I slept so well after answering a security question and then calling back in to answer the question.

Now if that was not impressive enough--then wait till you hear the security question. VERY VERY CLEAVER---Your favorite color. I mean WHO in the world would know that.

All the other books need to listen carefuly and study this most effective means to INSURE security!

WWTS the top book? What a really bad choice.

I wish people would stop kissing WWTS' ass so they would be forced to get competetive in the industry with more selection and maybe some reduced juice here and there. I think I would drop dead of shock if I ever saw them offering an opinionated line on anything.

I use about 20 books right now and I can't even be bothered with WWTS. They are secure for payouts but that only does me so much good if I can't find a bet there. They virtually never have the best line on anything.

Square book. They're just not good enough.

Very simple answer to this. If you own a book and pay 5-10 dimes a page with a year contract they will name your book the top also. Most books put out their own rag and name themself the top book named "by the readers" it's all BS....
