Betting the Overs in Tonight's Games

I’m not one to bet on preseason games normally in hockey but after reading this article from Mirtle’s blog it made me reconsider.

Between this statement by the NHL to enforce obstruction penalties and the normal history of offenses being ahead of the defenses for opening preseason contests I blindly took every total tonight to go over the 5.5. Lots of young players trying to make impressions and I have to think the high scoring games we’ve seen in the first three days of exhibition games will continue for awhile.

Lastly I placed all my bets at 5dimes early this morning. Now 4 hours later, (12:30 PM pst) I see all vig has moved to the over.

I have all games at 5.5.The vig at 8:30/12:30
Boston/NYI even/-135
Buff/Mont -130/165
NYR/TB -115/-150
Cbus/Chi -120/-155
Dal/St L -120/-120
Flo/Cal +105/-130
Edm/Van +105/-130

Every game except Florida and St Louis has moved at least 35 cents.

the problem is that 5D is only allowing $50 per bet. Anyone know of another place to bet preseason totals?

I wasn't even aware that the max was $50 when I played mine. That's all risked on the two at plus prices and risked enough to win $50 on the rest.
Maybe I was the one that moved the lines with my massive bets!!??

I was somewhat surprised that 5dimes had lines up this early. I don't remember them posting this soon last year. I see no one else that has any being offered.

Shitty night bro. I liked your analysis of why to pick the overs. I did a lot of my hockey betting last year on the over/under. I hate picking overs. I personally thought picking out the teams to go under was easier, especially in the Western Conference
