Hello, "The Investigator." I have no problem with mass e-mailings. I have used them myself, in other contexts. But when I have used them, I made sure to let the addressees know that if they are not interested in further e-mails, they just need to let me know. Good business people don't *want* to be nuisances, and they know that everyone is a potential customer, and therefore deserves to be treated with respect.

When you wrote: "YOU WOULD DO EXACTLY THE SAME THING TO GET MORE BUSINESS....."

you were 100% wrong, and frankly, I don't think much of your business sense. Sending repeated unwanted e-mails, and repeatedly lying about removing addresses is BAD BUSINESS. In business, reputation is everything. Take your pick:

"BP? Yeah, I know who he is. He tried to get me to sign up with his service but I wasn't interested. I asked him to take my name off his list and he was courteous and professional. Seems like someone you can trust."

or

"Who, BP? You mean that unprofessional lying sack of shit? Yeah, I've heard of him -- stay away!"

ND

P.S. If you're not interested in this topic (i.e., the business practices of certain touts), I suggest you refrain from participating in it.
