I am convinced that if I were to bet against the yanks every game all season long at plus money on the ml that I would be a richer man at the end of the season.

Anyone else concur??

Someone correct me if I am wrong please.

Seeing how the Yanks are 54 and 31 right now, to break even you would need to have averaged approxamately plus 1.75 per game betting against them. I know they are big favorites a lot but not sure if the plus 1.75 has been there.

wil,

you are correct. i am sorta just thinking out loud here. they are usually such heavy favorites and i think it is mostly public square money that drives it up so high.

Public driving down the price was particularly true on July 4 in the third game against the Mets where they "could not lose three games in a row". I never bought into that idea anymore than black is more likely on the roulette wheel after 10 consecutive reds.

Wait a minute...you mean black isn't a 50,000 STAR LOCK OF THE YEAR in roulette after 10 consecutive reds?
