halftime betting is like the bermuda triangle for me...never seem to fair to well....do you just kinda bet randomly based upon watching the first half or are there angles/trends that you should really focus on (home half dog, team leading at half, etc etc)

thanks for any insights or notes

all depends on the flow of the game per se. example is alabama-vtech saturday.

Bama was dominating the game but losing @ half. Gotta like Bama -4 2nd half there.

Also you have to take the game line into effect when capping the 2nd half line.

A lot has to do with comparing the opening line, with the new game line (2nd Half).....gL

Game has an o/u of 51.......

Score is 10-7 at the Half......

2nd Half Line....is o/u 24.......

17 + 24 =41..........Points you in the over direction

......you're getting 10 pts off the original game line.........and we all know how close the linesmakers usually are

so using the closing total is a good way to project halftime totals....does that also apply to betting sides???? team x is -7 closing line....team -x is winning 14-10 at the half.... halftime line should be something like x -3?? does the halftime line focus for on flow of the game, closing line or a lil of both?
