she went ape shit because madness is in her blood. the targaryens would marry eachother to keep the blood line pure. her parents were brother and sister...they attribute the Mad Kings loss of his mind to the fact of years of inbreeding.
That

And John let out the secret that he was the rightful heir. Once everyone knew she didn't deserve it, and he was so beloved, it drove her mad (or that truth brought the madness out of her.)

But he was always beloved lol. Everyone knows him. He is from the North. They all respect him and don’t see him all of the time....so in that 4th episode where she catches feelings doesn’t make any sense. Seems like they are just happy to see their friend....I don’t think any of them knew at that point who John snow really was. I guess she took it an entirely different way. Just wasn’t realistic because she wasn’t even the one who defeated the night king lmfao. Arya was. All of them would be dead if not for Arya. So Why is she catching feelings about not being loved? She couldn’t kill the Night King. She was incapable of killing him....so I don’t understand how she can feel that way starting in the next episode?

They failed big time it’s okay. At least there was one good episode. We waited a year and a half for them to give us good 80 minutes of fantasy television

I guess that’s the best explanation I’ve heard for why. I don’t follow the show. I just watched basically the last 2 seasons....when it apparently got terrible.

She still wanted to rule. If she really went ape shit she should have tried to kill Jon snow first. Then we are talking about a show.

I agree. The sow has been so good, but this last season sucked. Had she gone after Jon Snow then it would have been a good fucking ending and made more sense. One last battle with her against the North.

a lot of the back stories werent covered in the series but they explain a good amount of character things that come out. there are small hints dropped in episodes but if you didnt read the books you would just look right past it. overall a great series but pretty clear that there is enough meat left on the bone to keep some aspect of the show going. clearly arya could have some spin off.

I think you’re missing the message in that scene. She just found out before the battle that John was the rightful heir. After the battle when that scene takes place she realizes how loved he is. She doesn’t understand that before then, he was just the bastard from the North that was no threat to her. She catches feelings because it all hits her then. She’ll never be as loved as John by those closest around her, her main advisers.

You missed the first 6 seasons when John wasn’t loved at all lol

it wasn’t just the last season that blew, it was a good part of season 7 as well. The first 6 seasons were the best writing by far. Kinda funny everyone is up in arms about how it all ended. It’s like having 7 sequels to an original, they never last forever and progressively get worse.

And I know the Sapranos was the shit, but you’re going to tell me that show ended better?

As predicted another weak ending to a popular series. Hey Jaimie Lannister next time hide under the archway 10 ft away, its safer. How bout that dragon torch the soft whinny face John Snow. How bout Grey Worm go crazy after dragon lady murder and fight john snow. How bout ending episode showing daenerys with the blue eyes Night Queen, or how bout that dragon undressing her and having his way with her, these writers suck ass, or ran out of money.

That Sopranos ending was classic. Yes. The last two episodes were epic. The last two seasons of the Sopranos minus Vito’s scenes was all incredible television.

Come on bro. There is ALWAYS a build up with this whack ass show. The show that nothing ever happens in....it took two meaningless episodes before Episode 3 with the night king.

Compared to the Sopranos....Season 6 end of episode 1....Tony’s making dinner....shits going smooth....looking like the game of thrones...nothings going to happen.... then boom! Crazy uncle Junior comes down and shoots him in the stomach. Come on bro. There’s no comparison.

john snow was loved because he is a beast in the battlefield. So not sure why people would dislike him....Or why she felt that way because he was the real king.

If she was so threatened and so crazy about being on the throne....she should have tried to kill his ass.

Another thing....the Dragon letting son live because he is Targaryen? He has dragon blood?

Yeah so what...He still violated tho

Everyone is telling me...well the dragon knew so much.... he can make decisions lmfaoooo

lmfso if he knew so much then why didn’t he disobey his mother and refuse to kill all those innocent people? Just ride back to where you came from since he knows so much. It would have saved his mother’s life lmfao. Jon snow would have never killed Dany. It’s okay, the show is terrible doesn’t make any sense. It is what it is

There will never be a show as symbolic as the Sopranos no matter how hard game of thrones tried.

Tony dies in that last episode when it cuts to black he gets shot probably in the head from the guy coming out of the bathroom....they just don’t show it. The clues are there.

But yes the very last part is meant for the viewer to come up with.
