not talking from a gambling viewpoint; although sure some of that will get done.

Wanna take care of the lovely lady, if you know what I mean.

So which is the better place to stay, eat, scenery, ect. Also safer? Any recommendations on where to stay?

If you can afford it Caneel Bay in St John's USVI. Very expensive but will be the best trip you ever take in your life. I want to move there. Pay for the trip before you go so you will enjoy it more and not worry about all of your bankroll you are spending. Have fun.

Tough call, but the Virgin Islands sound very appealing! You could get what you get there also here in Costa Rica, but it requires some proper tour planning. Airfare is probably cheaper to the USVI than to Costa Rica.

If you decide to come to Costa Rica, just ask people here for good advice on what to do, where to stay, and where to go.

V.I is better to take the lady.

Not sure how much you want to spend. But my parents once rented a catamaran and went from island to island. They loved it.

If you do chose Costa Rica. Don't take your lady to the Del Rey

VI is probably better in the sense that it is more exotic, CR is better in the sense that there is a shitload to do and see here.....all kinds of places to go to, its just a matter of getting a little help if you come.
