FISH,
If they hadn't have ripped off Newman for a few points I'd be 5 points behind you sir.
Yea I got three rooks and Vickers was moving up pretty good when misfortune struck directly affecting three of my drivers. This I blame on Sauter not on Vickers who had the noble idea of winning a restrictor plate race in the first few laps.
And of course the possible future driver of the our 97 Chicken Ranch Ford and everybody's favorite driver especially at Bristol, had that pit lane problem or he would have been right up there.
I got a $9975 team which unless I have too, I'll leave alone until I can slip Scott Pruett in at Infineon and the Glen. That will cost 25 bucks. See I got this all figured out. Hell it ain't rocket science.
And finally always take a cheap rookie driver such as Scott Wimmer who has pending DWI and a leaving the scene charges and no longer has a drivers license. Especially when he has a Winston Cup record of 99% laps finished and no provisionals used. Yea OK six races, but it's a trend which can't be ignored.
For one thing the leaving the scene and 99% laps completed indicates the ability and desire to drive away from trouble. Also, the charges indicate a to me a live for today phuck tommorrow attitude. I like that in a young driver. Drive fast think later.
Finally the bottle of bubbly in victory lane may really be more additional motivation for this guy than a few others out there.
Now about "Front Row Joe"; c'mon Fish, I would have been more apt to take the 01 Chevrolet if David Reutiman had the ride.
All kidding aside, everybody watch that kid in the Truck Series matchups. I've seen him drive locally and in a few Busch races. A lot of raw talent from a great Zephyrhills, FL racing family. Check out the few times he's been in a Busch car. Already cashed easily on an Oly matchup against Hank Parker Jr. at Daytona.
