I just registered 5 minutes ago, and this site seems pretty cool. I have only bet with 2 sportsbooks, and one of them is Betonsports.com. I'm wondering what you guys know about them. They advertise all the time on the radio, and I've heard endorsements from Fox Sports Radio people. They claim to be the largest book on internet, but I never see them mentioned anywhere, except for their own advertisements. I've never had a problem with a payout with them, but this site lists them as a No Pay book. Can anyone explain what they know about this book?

Illini, When you say BOS pays you it can only mean one thing, overall you are a loser at BOS. You see BOS does not pay winners, they stiff them. Do not play there. Some legitimate sportsbooks out there. Olympic, WSEX, and Pinnacle to name a few.

Chuck, thanks for the info. Actually, I just withdrew my entire account balance, and I finished up $2700 with them. Does that classify me as a winner, or is that still small in their eyes? I probably will not be reloading my account with them.

$2700 would be considered small. Feel fortunate you were paid by BOS. Many horror stories of people getting stiffed. One poster here hit a 6 team parlay that paid 35k. Only when he tried to withdraw the money did they refuse to pay. He ended up settling for ½ of his winnings.

Seems like BoDog is about as reputable as they come, even though they're in Costa Rica. Anybody disagree? I'm planning on opening an account with them.

BoDog has the best payout method: EFT transfers. But it doesn't do me any good because they also have a seven day business hold on EFT deposits. That has cost me almost four dimes.

I may have to work out a deal with that Gillespie dude to bend the rules and allow me to withdraw without any waiting perod. I think my reputation for EFT's going through successfully speaks for itself. Hell I've only bounced five out of hundreds.

Bodog is great if you bet under $200 a game. If your betting more than that or betting underdogs you will be asked to leave after a short period of time.

Chuck that is BS. I am up well over 10 dimes with them, and their only problem is my prop vs. straight action must be 50/50.

I'm not saying the guy that hit that parlay didn't get stiffed, mabye he did, but it's not the case with every player that's up on them.

Wouldn't doubt it. They limited me to $500 on the Nets plus moneyline then only allowed me to bet another $500 on the Nets spread before they changed the line a half-point so I could bet the rest. So instead of $1300 on the Nets plus moneyline, I had $500 Nets (+)money, $500 Nets +2.5, $300 Nets +2.0.

It might not have been those exact numbers and amounts. I can't remember it exactly but it was something like that. I ended up losing all three when that POS Karl Malone made a last second putback to force overtime and then...

Including my Nets and UNDER parlay at Big Book, I lost out on a possible $7000 win.

Redneck, Betonsports has STIFFED many players. Maybe you are up, I don't know. What is a fact is that they STIFF winners.

This thread was my very first post at the RX. I did re-up with them about a month ago, because it seemed they had turned the corner, or at least I saw some sharp people that were playing there. I promptly took another $750 from them, cashed out, and now they will never have a chance to win any of it back. Thanks for the money, you assholes!

Illini do you have a point here. I mean bumping a three year old thread?

My point is that these cocksuckers have always been crooks, and still are. Seems everyone knew it in late 2003, and they still know it now. I just find it a little bit funny to revisit. I mean, I was a newbie that thought they were the only offshore book when I started betting. And I came here, and everyone was like, "quick, get the hell out of that shit book." So I did. And now, they are proving everyone right.

From someone who says he won and was paid that is pretty strong language.

Not to argue the point but the everyone you talk about hasn't changed much in three years. I won't mention names.

I hope your day gets better.

My day is going fine, and I was paid by BOS. They didn't give me what they advertised as the lines I would get, but that particular problem has been corrected with the line feed. But the more I think about this Artie situation, the more angry I get. They were, after all, listed as NP (No-Pay) on this very site. So I guess nature is just running it's course, and BOS is following suit.

POS book.

Illini

I see you bumped the thread because you are angry about this Artie dispute. Fair enough.
