Before you guys start piling on BetMania, I just want to say that I know with a great deal of confidence that they have come a long way towards righting the ship. The first indicator is that I have had zero complaints since Halifax received his last withdrawal and that matter was squared away (feel free to ask him). There are lots of good things happening at Betmania these days that will be apparent during the upcoming football season. Like a lot of books they did have a diffficult transition after Neteller went down but that is over now. Mike Mitchell has turned out to be very accessable to myself and The Rx.com overall when there is any kind of issue that calls for us to contact him. Mike always takes my calls, something I can't say for every top guy I have dealt with over the last two plus years as Rx.com head mod.
Funding at Betmania is solid now and I look for them to be a good out for their preferred market share which is the small to medium recreational player for the upcoming football season. BetMania was generous enough to pledge $1,000 to the very shortly going to happen Rx.Bash 2007 in the form of four $250 cash accounts. I am also working with Mike on doing some mini contests during the football seson similar to the type I have done with Skybook and BetJamaica every year during football. $500 or $1,000 matchplays to give away to the winner of a Sunday or Monday night football thread for example. These are all good signs that BetMania is striving to compete favorably within it's market and knows where it has to improve to accomplish that. There number one goal right now is to make sure winners are paid as promptly as possible, we all know that is the key to becoming a top notch out and Betmania knows it also.
Finally please remember all Rxers are a simple email away from immediate help if you have any difficulty with any Rx.com sponser and that includes Betmania.
Just fire an emaill to me at
wilheim@therx.com - back-up
person19481950@yahoo.com and I am on the case as quickly as I can get a top supervisor on the line, which at Betmania is immediately during normal business hours all seven days of the week.
You don't have to believe me but I am not going to put my word on the line unless I know I am on firm and solid ground. BetMania has turned the corner and has become a viable out for Rxers who care to play there. They offer 5% rebate on horses, reduced juice for football and basketball (in season), excellent bonuses for new sign ups, very competitive teaser and parlay odds (especially on internet wagering). There is a lot more to offer besides what I just mentioned, please do me a favor and take a look at
BetMania.com..
I won't try to BS anyone if you want to play high Betmania may not be for you but for anyone looking to play anywhere from $10 to $1,000 a game BetMania will proove to be a excellent out that offers a lot for your wagering dollar including lines that are not stone cold cloned from a computer screen displaying the latest wise guy moves. You will find some betable numbers as often as any of the other books doing business with an operating model similar to Betmania's and not just the same price everyone else is hanging because some wise guy bet it someplace and changed screens all over the industry.
Remember Betmania is one of the books that make what we do here for you posters possible and just bashing them because you heard this or that story from the past is not only unfair to BetMania but also to The Rx.com and all of your fellow posters as well. Without the Betmanias, BODOGs, 5Dimes', Skybooks and all the rest of our sponsers there would be no Rx.com, no Bashes, no free contests and no top flight mod team ready to help you out at a moments notice. So please think before you bash one of our sponsers and contact me first if you have a legit beef, I promise to do my very best to make sure the right thing is done promptly and as hassle free as possible.
Sorry for the rant, but I really am sincere about what I am saying to you and certainly don't think any Rx poster is not worth giving a 100% all out effort to when they need some help.
Thanks, wil..
