That's fine. I am assuming my DET pick is NO ACTION and the VAN pick is ok?

Do you doubt that I read the rules? I just wanted confirmation before the games were underway, to avoid arguments after the fact. Thanks!

QUESTION: will the Detroit pick count? (I'd like to bring this up BEFORE the game is over)

Same thing happened to me about a month ago. Whenever you edit something after the 5 minute window and it shows that little edit sentence below your post JOH confirmed with me that ALL PLAYS for that day are void on one's behalf so therefore nothing counts inlcuding Vancouver

Interesting. Where is that in the rules?

• One post per day, post must be made 5 minutes prior to the start of the first game in the post. If late all games posted with less than 5 minutes to go will be NO ACTION.
• Players will be allowed to use TheRX.com 5 minute edit window to edit typos, or mistakes.

I guess that means since I didn't use the 5 minute edit window that both plays are void? But the post was edited at 8:08 - 22 minutes before the start of the VAN game. I'm not 100% sure the VAN play should be NO ACTION - any opinions on this?

You should have let it be and then asked the question about your DET pick in an additional post. If you would have done this as opposed to editing it after the 5 minute edit window placing that edit sentence below your post then your VAN pick would have indeed counted as per JOH. Stupid I know and we should look at having that changed for next year in my opinion.

Exact same thing happened to me on a Sunday night about 3-4 weeks ago. Both games were nowhere near starting but JOH said because I made an edit past the 5 minute (even though its really 10 minutes) edit window that all plays are void. DET would be void regardless because 1 minute late but VAN void because of the stupid edit thing. Ask Vic he was also involved in a similar scenerio where he panicked knowing that edit window was coming to an end and just left plays he didnt even necessarily wanted including two sides and two total of the same games lol. Yea I agree we really need that to be changed for next year as with the game not near starting time should have no impact based on a silly edit
