Betjamaica...no nhl futures...

Betjamaica will not have any NHL Futures until the regular season has ended. How weak is that? I I placed a few nhl to win the stanley cup wagers a couple weeks ago so I know they had them up at one point but now nothing. Do most other books have them up or is this a normal thing to not have them up at this time of year?

I could be wrong but some books have been known to take futures and similar action down overnight and repost it when the main day crew comes in. Check with BetJamaica CSD or your account hockey lines in an hour or two.

They have them up now. I emailed them yesterday and there response was that they won't have any up until after the regular season. I guess they either changed their mind or the person who replied to me was misinformed.

Very Common Practice

On the overnights, books are worried about an injury etc.. and if they do not have a linesmaker in the office overnight, their exposure on a side could get hit hard enough that they would be upset. It is a business and they must think it makes more sense to delist the game than pay someone to track betting on a game that will get little or no action overnight 99/100 time.

Just looking to put a very small amount on them and hedge in the playoffs. I would probably put 0.25 units on each.

I see,

Ive got $16 on CLB to win $2000, but nothing on the other three teams.

Anaheim may very well be a great darkhorse this year, and if they can squeeze into spot # 8, who knows, maybe an upset?

If not, I see a very good series nonetheless.

I like the CLB bet. I agree with ANH, they could make a serious run.

Any Books have prices on CONFERENCE CHAMPS (which often are about 1/2 the payout as Cup Champ odds)?

Barman, why not just take the Stanley cup bet and hedge at the final? i guess unless u think that the other side will be a huge fav, even in the final

Could be the way to go, though I do think that if either of my two longer shots grabbed East they would be facing at least a -250 from either SJ or DET and maybe even CAL
