As a side effect some network segments that contained the majority og infected computers the attackers use to perform their floods have been blacklisted.
Give us a shout here at the office and we will verify you have an account here and add your isp as friendly. Currently about 10% of our online customers are being affected as such.

Has there been any luck (by you or another sportsbook) in tracing back any of the infected computers to its owner? By this I mean, actually contacting the owner of an infected computer to help them clean it up and identify the infection. Theoretically, if you could find enough of the infected computers, you might be able to learn how/where/when they got infected. This information may be useful in tracking down the bastards that started this, or in distributing an anti-virus.

We do not have the power to contact the individuals with infected computers but our isp has partnered up with a few others in an effort to exchange information. They are working on the service provider level to track down the infected puters to collect as much evidence as possible.
We'll see how this plays out.
