well jip,
was it not pending bets ? as their would be no way they would take on pending plays, ther risk managers did not lay the bets - no need to take them on.
pending withdraws - should have rang sb and told them to put money back into your account, they did not buy everybodys account and expect them to withdraw.

miamiman,
No it was not pending bets it was my pending withdrawal.
I rang Sportingbet, Firststake.com and the liquidators literally dozens of times to try and sort this out.
The balance of my account passed to Sportingbet from Firststake was £0.00 Sportingbet, quite rightly, said that unless I could provide proof that I had a pending withdrawal they would have to accept the figure passed to them from Firststake.
Firststake had conveniently only passed the account balances to Sportingbet and not the account records. When I questiones the administrators of Firststake about the clients records at Firststake they were conveniently (and deliberatley IMO) not available.
There is little doubt in my mind that these funds were deliberately stolen by the operators of Firststake in a last ditch attempt to grab everything they could before they finally sank.
Like I said in my last post:
I wouldn't like anyone to think the operators of firststake walked away in the clear with their names in tact.
They stiffed alot of people.
