I think the deadskins actually make the playoffs this year, Joe Gibbs was holding them back. Im guessing this means u'll be on g-men on thursday, I wanted to bet the skins, I dont know if its cuz I really think they will win, or cuz I'll be watching the game with a bunch on Giants fans, and I wanna be that asshole.
why would you bet for or against a team in a first year offensive system......stay away my friend and save you the grief. This team will be a shocker for alot of teams and fans alike. How many times did you see moss, el, portis, washington, mcintosh, smoot, rodgers, springs, (I could go on) take the field. Again the biggest mistake you can make is judjing them from presason.
All preseason is good for is to scout the depth of a team and kill the bookie when a key player goes down and they adjust rediculous amount of points when you know the team has got a solid replacement. BOL this season.

This is not a good team imo and in the 1st half people will be betting on the name..skins rather than the team.a little like the braves name imo.some people love the past and that what you have in this wash team, a name only imo, but again that why it calling betting, always 2 sides to the coin but imo this team is going nowhere this yr...ck
Washington is the second best team in the NFC IMO. They beat the Giants week 1. No matter how bad you think a team is though betting against them blindly for 8 weeks is foolish. Even the worst team in the league can have a winning record ATS.
Also, from what I've seen the public is all over the Giants and the line has only gone down a little bit. I think people are more likely betting on the name "Giants" rather than betting the on the name "Redskins." Since when did Washington become a public team?

I'm pretty sure the line opened at either 4.5 or 4, and now it is down to 3.5 with higher juice to take the Skins. Dallas is the only team I would say is better. The Giants finish last in their division IMO, but they could easily finish ahead of the overrated Eagles. The Saints are the third best team in their own division, so don't put them in the top 3 in the NFC. TB and Carolina are both better if they stay healthy. Not sure why everyone likes the Saints. I look at their roster and really don't see too much talent. GL though fading Washington..
For sure the line is now @4 at 1/2 of the online books. I really want to take the Giants with the Skins new offensive system working a 3-4 WR because Last i heard skins had 5 WRs on roster w/2rookies (one out and the other hasn't caught onto the playbook), randle el starting w/a broken hand and thrash the average 12 yr vet getting increased PT. People are big on Campbell but there is no way it will show in the first 2-3 weeks of the season (and not against Giants secondary). Haven't even had time to keep up with the injury reports on D but have a feeling that at least taylor and landry will not be 100% if they go. Giants D is more than 2 players, sure probably less sacks but i think pressure will still be there.
As for the preseasone, its a joke to begin with. Portis and several others did not even want to play any games and were vocal about, which IMO makes it hard for any of starters to give a damn. I will take NY G -3 (buy a 1/2 pt if my book still has it up). Talked myself into it.

it will take the redskins the first half of the season to get there offense going but on talent alone they are better than most nfc team at almost every skill position with depth everywhere.
i dont see how anyone can like the giants this year. defensively the giants will struggle and if manning doesnt carry the offense like he did in the playoffs/superbowl then they have no chance to make the playoffs this year.
as for week 1, it will be tough for the skins to go to the meadowlands and win. the best play in that game is no play in my opinion.
