In another thread earlier this week someone asked about the teams that do best and worst early in the season against very large spreads. I put together a sortable table to show results in a few different ways. It's online here:

Not too many surprises. Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Penn State and Florida have been good bets against large spreads early in the season the last couple of years; Ohio State has been a bad one.

Good info, thanks for posting. Notre Dame=16.7%.....he he he. Nevertheless the public will continue to pile on them.

It's quite amazing how many people liked them at the -17.5 line that was initially posted here.

This stuff is all available at SportsDatabase.com. You can go all the way back to 1980 if you want.

Texas and OU are very good at covering large numbers.

OSU the worst. Florida and USC, are good away from home. Traveling team is smaller, so during home games more scrubs get to play.
