I have a wireless phone & looking to get a wireless device that can access the internet...

I have found it difficult to get a good place to get scores on the phone...yahoo & cbs sportsline suck & you have to click all over the place...what do you guys use in terms of wireless devices to get on the net...

what are the best WAP sites?

I recall WILDBILL being somewhat of an authority on this subject.

I am sure he will chime in later with his opinion.

I know nothing about it.

I also have Sprint, it DESTROYS the ATS pager I carried for 5+ years, I mean lightyeras cheaper, and in plenty of cases, its faster too.

Sprint PCS phones are the only way to go. Sites like ESPN work supurbly well, especially for baseball, you will get pitch by pitch updates.

I get net on the ell for free (I work for the cell phone company)

Thing is it is hard to find goo sites to get scores...for example, if you use yahoo..you have to click on each individual game to get the scores, where can I get good sports scores through Wap all on one page?

Hard to say, since this is mobile and acessible from most anywhere, that alone beats don's best..

I bought a pager on the net not too long ago and never had to pay monthly fee's. Get lines from vegas to the islands.

I have had mine for close to 4 years now with no problems. One time it stopped working and all I did was take it to a local pager shop and had the realign the pager...and no problems.

You are right...$5 cant be beat. But since i have have bot the pager and the pocket PC..I find that I use the pager more than the phone PC

You have to be bordering on addicted to care about how slow Yahoo sites are in score updating anymore, they are almost as fast as live. I have listened to hockey games live and the scores were usually about as current as you could get. If you really need a more live score than what you get on most cellphones than you probably should be staying home at the computer or even in a bar watching the game.

The Sidekick is as good as having a home computer I suppose, but I have had phones from Sprint and Cingular and their score features weren't slow at all.
