Restaurant that serves cheap food. I would think the average ticket price for one needs to be 7$ or less including drink.

All kidding aside, in biz I once met with this investor who had just purchased a coffin making company in South Africa, looking to cash in on the AIDS epidemic in Africa. Absolutely disgusted me that I never bothered calling him back.

tanning salon

I own my own...you would think people would cut that out of their lives with the recession but what is happening is people are cutting out big vacations. So instead of going away and getting a nice bronze, they are tanning to make it look like they went away. People are addicted to tanning and it will be around forever with or without a recession

Taxi biz . Just make sure you have a divider up so no one can mess with you in the back seat. When gas is up u can charge the people more. Also u can advertise a real cheap price like the pakistan guys do and the spanish guys and than when the people get out of the car u hit them with a fuel surcharge and an automatic 20% gratuity.

Buy all the foreclosure houses you can buy and turn them in to rentals. Your going to pay about 2/3 of the value of the home. I wish I had some x money because there was 7 of them in the paper this week that were appraised between 30,000 and 60,000 that didn't need much work and the were in decent neighborhoods.

I have been trying to figure it out also and here is what I have come up with after MUCH research.....

Liquor stores are down believe it or not. I thought it was a no brainer that they would do well right not.

Bars are getting killed

Drug Dealers are even down and cops are getting more on edge knowing that people are desperate.

Buying foreclosed homes and renting them out is not even good because it is so damn easy and cheap for a person to own a home.

The thing that I ave found and am looking to get into is tow truck/ repo business. They are KILLING it right now!!

I guess I am only talking about my area and things may be different other places, but this is what I want to get into now.

I am trying to lock down a contract with a few places right now and if I can get enough, I am going to do everything I can to buy some older trucks.
