It is a very difficult question to answer I know, because it is hard to narrow down to just one. I do not think my music choices fit the demographic here, so I do not expect many to be on board, but I am interested to see what people will say is the best or their favorite album of all time. Two that come to mind for ME are:

Run DMC - Raising Hell (1986) and Lauryn Hill - The MisEducation of Lauryn Hill (1998)

I've heard of them, but certainly did not know they were so popular. They had a show last week on a Thursday at Mohegan and all the rooms were booked including all the area hotels

Excellent choice.
Why thank you Judge! I will be giving a listen to your selections this weekend. I cannot believe that in all my 59 years I have not listened to the White Album from start to finish. I listened to some of NAS Illmatic today which was recommended by a few posters and while the genre is not my favorite, there is something in it that I like and will listen again. Pink Floyd Animals I listened to a few years ago and just hated it. I will try it again as I hear people rave about it regularly. Lot of stuff to look into here. Thanks boys I am sure I will find a few gems!
