IMHO, Kazmir will be back in rotation by Apr 14 if not by Apr 9, which is the first day the Devil Rays will need a "5th starter".

Thanks to an offday following Monday's opener, they're able to use a 4man rotation for first eight games.

Oh, TBay will be facing one of the rougher scheduling stretches to open the season. Following that offday on April 1, they are scheduled to play 26 of next 27 days.

Sounds formidable all right, except that I can probably count on one hand the number of times a MLB manager has tried to roll out the same SP three times in a 7game series in the last 20 years.

For the record, in 2007 the AL East was only the third toughest division - with a composite finish of 3 games over .500

AL West finished 9 games over .500 and the National League West finished a composite 17 games over .500 with only the Giants having a losing record.
