A truly unique venue. Small enough where there is not a bad seat in the house and creates a great atmosphere. The interior of the building is beautiful. Everytime I see a concert there the band comments on how cool the venue is.
Just a fabulous place to be at a concert. Nice hills of green grass to throw your blankets down and party. There is no such thing as a bad place to sit.
It's nothing like the beauty of Red Rocks, but the Joint in Vegas has some of the best acoustics of any concert venue that I've been to. The Zoo Ampithetare in my hometown isn't bad either for watching concerts at night...
Joint at hard rock vegas is great. Roseland and Hammerstein ballroom both cool places to see a show in NYC, but probably wouldn't be as good if they weren't there if that makes sense.
The seats aren't all that comfortable and the surroundings aren't that opulent, but the Hollywood Bowl is a great place to see a concert because of the acoustics and the history of the place. I saw Doc Severinsen there in the early 90's.
