I have some friends going in a few weeks and they want to know the good places to eat.

Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.

Aladdin has the Spice Market, and it is very filling. Several ethnicities are featured, and it is quite good.

Las Vegas Hilton had a great seafood buffet (but that was 10 years ago). My wife still talks about it.

Circus Circus

actually - if your choices are the CC "Buffet" and dying of starvation - the latter is the bette of the 2 options.

the CC buffet is like "Chuck E Cheese" in that there are a MILLION kids there who don't really give a shit about the food - which, incidentally, tastes like shit.

if you have little kids - take them here. if you don't - NO!

CC buffet, I think Mc D's is a better selection.

Try Aladdin, Paris Mirage, Rio isn't half bad, or Bally's for decent value.

FSB,

There are a few buffets that i would recommend to someone trying to watch their budget.

Gold Coast-6.95/9.95 Lunch/Dinner It's good.
Texas Station has a Supper Buffet-9.99/10.99
The best in town for the price.

Terrible's 4.99/6.99 Very good for the price.

The Palm's Hotel-6.99/10.99 Good Buffet and the crowd is very hip.

BTW the Wild Wild West has no spread that i am aware of. they do have a good deal ,for $1.99 you get a hamburger and fries. well worth the price 24/7.

If you want to spend a little more at least once.

Aladdin Spice Market- 13.99/19.99 Upscale supper buffet.

Bellagio's Buffet-15.95/24.95 Excellent food with a dessert bar you will not forget.

Hope this helps.

I agree, dont go to the circus circus buffet. They have like 50 different items and none of them taste good - how do you ruin chicken and mashed potatoes?

I was just joking about Wild Wild West.Seriously though I like Bellagio and the Rio.T.I. isn't bad either. If you feel like venturing off strip try Green Valley Ranch.I like their buffet and the new sushi place that opened is excellent.Plus its a nice place and I like the casino and you don't have to put up with hustle and bustle of the strip.Worth a trip.

They should try the Flamingo for the breakfast buffet and the Luxor for the supper buffet. I recall both were about $10.
