May have missed the boat here, but Oldmanted posted Raiders. I grabbed Raiders pk-.15 and can now get +1.47 or 3 +.06. I hit the 3 rail with Raiders last week. Dallas QB situation a complete disaster. One old fragile Vinny, a good blitz away from retiring. And two green peas. Have to admit, with good QB's like Collins floating around, Parcells and Jones got caught with pants down here. They managed 0 points against Hou last week, even though steamed after being bet down to pick, back up to high 3. Was the Parcells preseason mystique and rb for Hou sitting. Bad steam. Raiders also benefitted from hefty 3 point move from pick, to tie the 3 on the road. Gotta like that. Raiders have 3 good QB's, and are at home after last year's disaster. A lot of new faces, many good veterans are in place. They had a few too many mistackles last week, and worked all week on grab and hold. One trend that I used last night that applies here, bet a team coming off being shutout. 21-10-1. But this is not Atl at home. This is offenseless Boys in Raider Nation. Lines both weeks have reflected last year's money burners, and both were moved 3 points. I may shoot a middle, or scalp, or just be OMNIVOROUS and do it all.
I think if I was focusing on backups, I would really look at Green Bay/New Orleans. Kid on New Orleans from AA Cal Davis is a gamer. Played very well in NFL Europe and has a real live arm. Unlike Packers, Tim Couch. Timmy is having trouble with the West Coast offense. He was a miserable 2-11, 18 yard effort. At least he gained yardage. Needless to say, Packers scored a amazing 3 points. Not sure if Brooks even starts, or how many series Farve sees. But if I am viewing these two backups, and how many minutes each will get, I really like the Saints. Might gamble and play Saints 2nd half. Starters for both squads sluggish last week. Both should play a quarter. I may take a small position of cheap 3 early. Best Wishes...OF
