Magic wasnt a good defensive player. Lebron is the best ive seen since MJ and could become the greatest of all time.

possible... i know this , lebron is the greatest athlete the nba has ever seen. never before have we seen a guy his size with that kind of speed and ball handling skills.

he's more rare of a physical specimen then jordan.

thats why i was laughing at some of the other people in the nba thread that said james was overrated.

i tell them, find a 6'8 240 lb guy with 4.4-4.6 speed, the assist and running an offense capabilities of a PG, the shooting and driving ability of a SG, the postup ability of a SF/PF, and the defensive ability to block shots like a Center.

wilt was the same way. i was watching videos of him the other day and he was dribbling like a PG.

The only thing that matters is helping your team win. Body type, speed, position, don't mean anything. Even changing the way the game is played is meaningless. The only things that matter are helping your team score and helping your team stop the other side from scoring. Come finals time, no one could control the scoreboard the way Jordan did. And he did it six times

James has a better chance of exceeding Jordan than anyone since 98. And the chance of him doing so is still pretty small

Magic was an underrated defensive player. He led the NBA in steals per game at least once.

Kareem in his prime would be tough to beat: 30+ PPG, 14 RGP, 5 ASP, 4 BPG.

Laughing my ass off at this. I am not one of those who believes that LeBron is overrated, he isn't. I can tell you three who had the same skill set as James - Jordan, Pippen, and Erving. Pippen was the first player to really shut down Magic. LeBron doesn't do one thing better than Jordan.
