Best bar to drink/hangout/gamble in Vegas?

I've never been but I've heard the south point is awesome. 24 hour sports book, 6 sports bars, cool atmosphere. If you go there I'd love to hear your thoughts cause everything I've heard about it has been good but like I said I've never been there.

If you are going with buddies go to Planet Hollywood. Great spot to hang out with the guys and play some cards. Go there in the evening...

i second the Cosmo. Amazing hotel, good casino and selection of games. No poker room if that's your thing. And the sports book is a little to be desired. But very pleasant dealers (hot too) and a good vibe all around. For sports books I would suggest the Palazzo sports book. Stadium seating and huge!! Very well put together. Good luck!!

There used to be a bar called the beach on the strip with hot shot girls , and lots of fun people. Is it still there ?

man if ur on the strip go to Westgate.. biggest book in town and have an awesome "fan cave" like a little room where u can watch the games.. oh and on sunday I haven't been yet but they have all the nfl games on in a theater.. if ur looking for the best sportsbook experience gotta go there. awesome deli right by the sportsbook too where u can get huge sandwiches and stuff

i always loved the mgm and the poker room on weekends (night). The ladies coming out of the club were jaw dropping

So many choices you really can't go wrong.

for great eats go to palace station and try the oyster bar. Any of the pan roast or gumbo is amazing.
The best food in Vegas by a country mile.

COSMO Sportsbook is TRASH! Its not even in the casino, Cantor Gaming rents a space in the Mall Area of the Cosmo so its not a part of the casino meaning no free drinks while watching and the screens are so small and barely any seats. only single chairs to sit at while putting in your cantor bets on the screen.
