up to almost 100pitches...past 3 innings had tieing runs in scoring position(lead of hits,doubles)

Sure he has 100 pitches through 5 innings, but he's gotten out of jams all day and gotten the big strikeout when needed. He has not gotten 'lit up' by the Pirates by any means.

One run through five innings is better than Sheets usually does. His ERA is slightly higher than that. You showed your ignorance by saying he was going "lit up" by the Pirates. First, allowing one run through five innings is hardly getting "lit up". Secondly, you made it sound as if the Pirates offense was one of the worst in baseball when actually it is one of the most productive. That tells us all how much you really know or rather how little you know.
