Favorites are coming from layoffs and longest shots on the board are horses that have shown fondness for turf ... #8 (30-1) CAPTAIN KITTEN is by Kitten's Joy and raced exclusively on turf last year, yet has been on dirt. #2 (30-1) CARROLL is an Ivan Vazquez runner that ran 2nd at 79-1 in only turf start.

After hitting back to back cold exactas, I didn't think my chances in race 5 were very good. Exacta pays $134.80, .50 Pick-3 pays $66.
50-cent Pick 3 will pay with my 'pick-to-click' in race 6 is $47.
The bottom has to fall out sometime. Will it be now?

Yep ... pick ran 2nd, exacta backwards.
Really screwy cuz the pick-3 paid more with the favorite than it would have with my pick. That figures, that really figures!
