Short field at Belmont in all races today... Why no Calder last 2 days G ???

So many scratches because of all of the rain we've had here. Ridiculous that there are two races today with three entries, and one race with four entries. I have been working on the Churchill card instead of Calder....

After the #11 scratched, I really loaded up on the #2 for big W/P flat wagers... Lezcano absolutely OWNS Belmont... Just like he OWNED Gulfstream this season...LOL.. :toast:

1. Ferocious Won returns to level of last score two back after flattening out late to fourth against better; nails the speed. Hedge Fund gets a big switch to Dominguez after having excuses in last two; threat on best. Missile Motor ran second as the chalk in return; can improve. Trophy Road loved the muddy sealed strip in last; may get similar footing.

2. Ballythunder shows a string of steady works debuting for Richard Dutrow barn; son of Thunderello attracts Gomez for debut. Four Star General has been third in last two since adding blinkers; looks best of those who have room. Toque ran well here on opening day to finish fourth beaten less than two length; include. Marly My Way worked a bullet for this.

3. January Gent has won three of last four starts for Dutrow; tries an extra furlong but finishes like it shouldn't be a problem. Le Grand Cru has been second best in last three at Gulfstream since adding blinkers; may make local debut a winning one. Flat Bold easily broke maiden in last; worked a bullet since and runner up has come back to win. Jockey Ridge is capable on best.

4. Commodore Way suffered tough beat when caught late in deep stretch when last out on March 21; gets call in race is moved to the main. Wood Be Willing got up for fourth in return despite slow start; this is an easier spot. The Shaughraun can improve returning to the grass; Prado rides. Inside Zone was a game winner in return; threat if he draws in.

5. Personal Shopper ran second in return at Penn National against open company; gets call to graduate vs. state-breds. Graceful Afleet tired to third in well bet debut; adds Lasix and may hold on. Fierce Rival is a $55k purchase debuting for Richard Dutrow; Gomez rides. Classic Tour shows some sharp works for initial going.

6. City On Line was sharp taking last at Gulfstream; this is tougher but colt can do. Striking Rizzi came up short in return when fifth after wide trip; owns a win over this course. Straight Story was sharp scoring in lone start over the grass; hasn't been out since Oct. but can fire fresh returning for Goldberg barn. Pocket Cowboys will probably be the one to catch on grass or dirt.

7. Cabaret Cowboy hasn't been out since finishing second as the chalk on Oct. 25 behind Musket Man, third in the Derby. Pax ran an improved third in latest; adds Lasix and runner up has come back to graduate already. Spanish Harlan is a $90k Harlan's Holiday firster debuting for Pletcher; shows steady works. Winged Hero is a $210k Fusaichi Pegasus firster; worked a bullet.

8. Gold Close to Home ran fifth as the chalk against better over a muddy sealed strip; takes needed drop. Mandate has improved since adding blinkers in last two earning diploma in last. Millirock should be involved from the start; Dominguez rides. Karakorum On Black was placed first in latest to earn diploma; minor reward.

9. Imperial Council weakened in the Wood Memorial when the colt challenged for the early lead; will probably revert to closing tactics. Stately Character finished fourth in the Florida Derby when last seen on March 28. Scorewithcater defeated Mine That Bird in Borderland Derby; consider. Charitable Man probably needed last; chance on best in tough heat.

10. Gamblin Fever suffered tough defeat in turf debut after making huge move before getting nailed on the wire; earns diploma. Burnished Copper is 0-for-12 in career but has been second best in last four starts; consider. Compliance Officer could be the one to catch. Winloc's Saint Ray rates a chance if he draws in.
