Beware, if you like KC for tonights game... the Pats are 17-5-1 ats in their last 23. The spread is -3 or -3.5. Remember the past2 wks when the Pats defensive backfield was decimated with injuries many jumped on St. Louis and they lit them up where Kyle Boller was 15-1 at home!? Then last week against a Bills team that was turning the corner with a rejuvinated running game and strong defense?? Both games werent even close.
REMEMBER, THESE ARE THE SUPERBOWL CHAMPS WITH, WITH COREY DILLION!!!
If you are leaning towards KC, I would consider a no play or go the o/u

I'll be on the Pats till futher notice, tonight at -3

KC is the best 3-6 team I've seen in a while. Their record does not indicate how good they are. This KC team is a live home dog tonight.

Mr. Tanna, KC has a lot of offensive talent for a 3-6 team.....but they are remarkably inconsistent, save for their game against Atlanta. Their offense has found ways to lose close games late, either by not scoring or by not moving the ball to keep the other team's offense off the field. Chiefs without #1 offensive weapon Priest Holmes. Chiefs D is attrocious...Brady will pick them apart.

I love home dogs, but I have to go with the proven winner Patriots here--were it at a pick `em, would you still pick the Chiefs to win outright? Chiefs will score, Pats will score more. Over still looks tempting at 53. GL

Iguana,
I like your point about "if this game was a pick em, would I take KC".
In a perfect world, everyone would be on New England. They're the Super Bowl champs with an added offensive weapon. They're playing a 3-6 team that can't stop anybody. They've got the best QB in the game in Tom Brady.

But, it's Monday Night Football. I Never bet against a live home dog on Monday Night.

This game reminds me a little of the Denver @ Cincy MNF game last month--I didn't give Cincy a chance and they won outright. KC has the offensive talent to win tonight, but the Patriots track record ATS speaks for itself....I'll keep riding that horse until it drops dead, maybe tonight!

I'm even a Cheifs fan, Tanna, and I would gladly eat my wager to see them win a big MNF game and get back on track.....but I bet with my wallet, not with my heart. GL to you.

P.S. I took the "live home dog" Cowboys last Monday for the same reasons you are taking the Chiefs tonight.....we all know how that came out! I thought Parcells could work some MNF magic, but it looks like his bag o' tricks be empty.

Well boys I'm going with the over, perfect weather conditions. Tonight: Partly cloudy this evening, then becoming cloudy after midnight. Low near 45F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.

I live about 100 miles from KC. Great cool (not cold) night for a football game, dry, no wind. I expect 30+ out of NE and 20+ out of KC. GL everyone. :monkey:

KC is the most inconsistent team I've ever seen. Well STL gives them a run but KC is worse. They could either come out and score 50. Or come out and score 10. You never know. I do know they are just like STL. Overrated year after year. Just because you play 1 great game every 4 or 5 weeks doesn't make you a good team. KC has lost games to NO, TB, Hou and Car this year. How can anyone say they are a good team.

Now that is some funny shyt. 3-6 teams are crappy teams to rely on. And KC has the crappiest defense in the world. GL

I dont always bet the Pats(probably should) but I have the last few weeks and I wouldnt bet against them. Just seems like especially the past two weeks they've been real solid.
I would be lying if i said "good luck" because I'm on the other side of this one... but GL on future picks

Its pretty much my rule to NOT bet against NE. They aren't my team but I just can't bring myself to bet against a team that is beating the spread 86% of the time in the past 25 games.

I also won't bet against Pit who has won 8 in a row ATS. Bal- 6 in a row ATS, or SD- 7 in a row ATS.

I never understood why people try to guess when a hot team will lose. Ride out that winning streak until they lose. If you started betting on NE after they won 3 straight ATS last year, you would have won 6 more times before they lost one. Then they won another 5.

like dantanna comments

but i just cant bet on any team where the line moves 2 plus points in their fav, as well as an over that moved over two points as well. on sunday, on all the 10 games that went under when the line moved up.

good luck 2nite
