remember this.

1.This is a Boise home game, half their team is from Southern California.
2. Peterson is a lot better coach than Paterson
3. Boise was training with the Navy seals why they were in town
4. Basketball team won outright as 11 dogs vs USD last night
5. MW is tougher than WAC but thats not Boises fault.
6. Boise knows how to win and not afraind to win.
7. Nannee Charger wr will be at the game supporting the team firing them up.
8. Boise has a chip on their shoulder and wants it more.
9. TCU scored a whole 13 vs Colorado State
10. TCU did a major leauge choke jiob vs Utah.

rail, i consider you one of the sharpest posters on this site, but what the hell does their basketball team winning have anything to do with their game vs tcu? south florida's basketball team couldn't beat high school kids right now and has lost to a bunch of shit teams in a row but their football team still spanked memphis.

and the nannee thing makes no sense either. tomlinson will likely be there supporting tcu, does that mean they'll play harder? it's not as if during the season they're thinking "you know what, i think i would have caught that pass/made that tackle/ran harder if ladanion tomlinson was in the stands cheering us on". that's just sillyness rail.

the others are mainly good stuff, just had to point those two things out because i really don't get how an otherwise very sharp poster could use those things to back up a play, or as reasons why people should stay away from tcu. peterson is one hell of a coach though, Boise definitely has that in their favor.

I was trying to take TCU actually, I have never bet against Boise football in my life. will probably pass.

The basketball team and Nanne dont seem like much but it is what I call a positive verve. You get a series of positive things working for you. I shot my best round of golf in my life on my birthday, why? because I feel good.

Seeing an old freind or your classmates do well make you feel good.

What in the hell does ANY of this have to do with the game?

A virtual home game because half of the roster is from Cali? Uh, it would be a "virtual home game" if this were the Humanitarian bowl...

Trained with Navy Seals? They are playing football, not teaming wih Sean Connery and taking back "The Rock."

Who, what, where and when does their hoops team have anything to do with this? The only reason people outside of Idaho even knew they had a hoops team is because George Karl's kid played there.

And I don't care who is there to "motivate" them.....this is still a football game.......not a sales call...:think2:

You are forgetting one of the biggest things. TCU FG kicker one of the worst ever.

Its easy to over think this game...but it is what it is...TCU is just better on both sides of the line and thats where the win starts...the line is low secondary to public perception of the two teams and the books have taken advantage of that but you cant keep a bad line down and as expected it has continued to creep up and up for TCU..

Dont look a gift horse in the mouth :banger:

Rail, from everything I've seen, the action is on Boise, not TCU.

Anyhow, TCU - for me, and not because of where the action is falling, but because I think they're the better team, and they've certainly been more tested. OK, BYU & Utah, while Boise played one decent team 3 months ago.

actually, upon further, it does appear more people are betting on TCU, but by a small margin. However, RXers do love TCU. So the premise of Rail's statement is correct with respect to people on this forum.

Doesn't change my opinion though.

Personally don't like the game from a betting perspective - feel it's basically a toss-up. People say Boise won't be able to run it and I don't see any way to refure that but Boise has arguably been more efficient going to the air this year - look at the Oregon game. That said, TCU also has a very good passing defense..if they can get some protection and have any type of success running it though Boise might be able to open it up a bit. On the other hand I don't see anyone giving the Boise defense much credit and they have been a solid unit. True that I feel they would/will get exploited by a top-notch offense but TCU is not exactly that. Under looks a bit appealing but I just don't see myself pulling the trigger.

If it goes over 3 I might consider Boise small as I'm expecting a tight one and I'd take Boise to win if forced to choose a side. Should be an excellent game regardless, best of luck with your wagers.

Toss up , yes........I liked TCU here, thinking they would be a dog. Not now though. I'd have to suspect Boise will be motivated and plenty po'd at being undefeated and an underdog.

SOME OTHER THINGS TO THINK ABOUT.......

1. This game is being played on a Tuesday which starts with a "T" Tcu also starts with a "T"
2. The Boise St players are having Ham for Christmas.
3. The TCU players are having Turkey.
4. A HUGE factor........the field is Green.
5. The TCU kicker watched "A Chorus line" last night so he sould be OK.
6. They are using an Indian Head coin for the toss so that should work in Boise's favor.
7. This game is being held 2 days before a Christian Holiday(coincidence?????? I think not).

Anyway too many factors for me, looks like a layoff game.
