I like to have fun, drink ( a little )and root root root for the home team ....

but

I would never disrespect another fan's team "in their house."

I gave up my Charger season tickets years ago.

Raider Fans are the WORST.

Who needs it ? Large flat screen Hi Def is better than being there ....

No, way better, way cheaper, way safer. If I want to tailgate I can backup my truck to patio. Plus the betting opportunities. I gave up seasons tickets 10 years ago after back to back drunk fan incidents. Lucky I did not end up in jail. Going to sporting events now is just an excuse to party and act obnoxious. No thanks...OF

I am on texas

my reasoning is that I expect the bull pen to be exposed for some weaknesses in middle relief

They played a doubleheader yesterday and even though it was an inning a piece it translates into only 2 pitchers working with a full days rest...

I know an inning a day is nothing - especially when foulke is so quick to get batters out. but I believe they will try to pitch either dinardo and/or malaska the two that do have the full day of rest

Dinardo has only pitched two innings this year - and in both cases it was with nice leads (6 runs vs tampa, and 9 runs @NY)

Malaska has also done well but he is in a similar situation - he has pitched in 5 games, his last outing he pitched only for 1 out however allowed 1 hit as well @ toronto, also the sox were down by 4 (from schillings grandslam), in the other 3 losses by the sox the tam was down by 4 runs, 5 runs, and 5 runs respectively, and his only outing of any significance (to his credit) resulted in a win as he pitched two no hit innings long enough for the team to get a couple of runs in vs toronto...

as you can probably conclude - these two guys are being tested and have not yet been thrown to the dogs.

Last night williamson and foulke went so I expect NOT to see williamson, but I do think that in the right situation we could see foulke. During the day game they pitched embree and timlin, we may see embree but I dont believe they have pitched timlin in consecutive days

anyway that my thoughts

this rain delay is BS

its not even raining but they are fearing some massive hail storm...

forgot to mention my primary reasoning...

arroyo

if he collapses early and if the sox dont score a million runs early like a lot of people are predicting - then the mood will change fast and we'll see the situation I believe where the teams streak can come to an end...

however

if this doesnt do it then I dont know how anyone is gonna stop this team

Does not look good. And as far as the double header, was under the impression it was a split, first game Wed night, second last night. Does that change anything. Probably just rainout, after this long, another double header. Best Wsihes...OF

This really worries me being a Red Sox fan.

David Ortiz is probably going to town on the clubhouse food and putting on unneeded weight.

Used to hate these games when I used to have to run reports for the night before closing up shop working in the sportsbook.

Made for some long nights.

Red Sox with the day/night DH yesterday have probably spent 21 out of the last 36 or so hours at ballparks. Add flight to Texas. Commute to and from airport and hotel. After midnight Eastern starting time [make that after 1 AM now] and this makes perfect sense.

Unless things have changed that I don't know about, the home club only can determine how long to wait prior to a game. The umps only get the call after the first pitch.

How'd you like to be the fan with the young family who shelled out a nickle plus to bring them to the park. Or the nickle plus BoSox bettor.

Funny thing is that radar over Arlington still shows all kinds of rain.
