However, Francona is apparently inept in the grey matter.

Obvious that Beckett was/is fine.

The Red Sox manager elected to pass on using his ace in game 4... on 3 days rest...and then have him again for game 7 on normal rest. Due to the retarded day off in between.

Beckett would have won game 4. Could have changed the scope of this series.

I really thought pre-post season C.C. was the Cy Young winner...

Their is no doubt in my mind now that Beckett is the most dominant pitcher that i have ever seen pitch in postseason baseball.

Viking - thanks for the YouTube of Gibson's 17 strikeout game. I remember watching it live (on TV) and to this day it's the best I've ever seen anyone pitch. I checked the boxscore and was actually surprised that Gibson gave up 5 hits that day but the Tigers never threatened in a 4-0 game.

I will say that Beckett looked fabulous tonight and would have handled any lineup, anytime, anywhere.
