Garza has good career numbers vs the Sox... And before last night, the sox had lost 15 out 17 at the Tropicana....So the line is right on but after watching last nights game i think we are watching two teams go in opposite directions...

2008-9, in Home games After losing a Home game by 2+ runs, the Rays are 28-8 and 13 of past 14

When playing a Home Game2 After not winning Game 1 by at least 4 runs, the Rays have won 30 of their past 31 chances.

BOL however you elect to proceed

Counting the postseason, Matt Garza is 7-1 with a 2.66 ERA and 1.08 WHIP in 12 career starts versus the Red Sox, and he has four quality starts, a 2-0 record and 1.88 ERA in four meetings this seaso

No matter how poorly he has pitched the last few outings...I think he can come back strong (there's a reason as to why he's Boston's ace with Lester)

Even though most of the sox haven't hit Garza well in the past, if Beckett is his old self we only need 3 or 4 runs.

5 runs already, WOW! Over is looking good. Boston is always good for at least 4-5 runs, so they will come back.
