I watched the whole Texans game, and I was very impressed by Jay Cutler. He finally seems like a smart veteran out there, not forcing balls when it's not necessary, protecting the ball in the pocket when he's pressured, etc. He looks primed to shred the Eagles D on MNF in my opinion.
The Texans front 7 dominated the 2nd half of the Chicago game. They stuffed runs on early downs and teed off in passing situations on 3rd and longs and the entire time after the Bears fell behind. That can happen to anyone, including KC, considering they have first round talent at every position.
Through all that, no picks from Cutler from the pressure (his INT came from White running wrong route) and no fumbles. That game could've became a disaster for many QB's.
Philly's front 7 ain't no Texans, and their backend isn't good either. This is a much more manageable matchup, and at home with a hard count.
On the other side of the ball, you've got a rookie going up against a top ten front 7, crowd noise, etc. in his first NFL road start. You've got a perfect value creating situation as they beat the hapless Browns at home, while the Bears got whipped in the 2nd half vs the Texans.
Bears win by 10-14 points. Line should be -4.5.
Play the Bears.
