Bears +3?

I don't get this, other than the possibility that this is a major trap. I know the Bears aren't that great but you'd have to think the team that MUST win the game will pull it off.

houston plays just ridiculously better at home.
bears secondary is sub par and johnson should get 120 yards with ease.

but with the bears needing to win to get in the playoffs you would think they'd be the favourites? do the books think the public will perceive the bears as vulnerable after playing poorly at home against the packers? i just don't see how you can bet against chicago in this spot.

Chicago needs a win as you said, yes indeed, but can they win with that off.line on the road?

Why bother with this game at all when there are so many better lines out there?

Needing to win doesn't really seem to mean a damn thing as we've seen over the past two weeks. This line opened at -1 for Houston and immediately shot up to -3. this tells you where the sharp money is so far and I think their right. Houston has been playing fantastic over the past couple months, they finally had a letdown in Oakland last week after coming off a huge win at home over the Titans the week before. I think they get back to their winning ways at home to close out the season.

Texans win and Bears will go home either way. Take the SF-3 as they will be playing their Superbowl this week and want to end the season on winning note. Redskins accomplished what they wanted by beating the Eagles now they're ready to go on vacation .

Probably is wise to understand that teams that are "must win" this late are not solid squads. I'm on Houston.
