Personally, as with any book that has not been around for at LEAST 12 months, I would proceed very lightly with your hard earned money when dealing with books this new.

Allow them time to prove themselves in the offshore market before sending any large amounts of your bankroll.

BIGBET- They are a new advertiser here and this is directed at alot of newbies here who think just because a book advertises at the RX they can send away any amount of large money and feel completely safe.

Being that they are relatively new, I strongly believe one needs to proceed accordingly(more cautiously).

Much more so than with dealing with such established books such as Pinnacle, Skybook, Bowmans, etc., etc., etc.

mr. fishhead - how did dimesplayer become an advertiser so fast? dontcha think that should not have happened until they have some kind of track record? seems a little irresponsible to me...

I retract all my posts about Fishhead is all about the money.

You are the first moderator that I have seen with some balls at the RX.

If a book isn't allowed to advertise, how can they establish a track record? I am all for the warnings and disclaimers, but I don't think you can cut any book off from a fair shot to establish themselves. At one time all books were small and struggling to get clientele, cutting them off from all the best sources of players isn't going to do either side any good IMO.

Bill- Agreed, however the RX is a highly visable and respected website and one that should probably by all accounts demand somewhat more out of a sportsbook than just your normal run of the mill start-up sportsbook.

There are other avenues a sportsbook can take to gain a start-up customer base before moving on to the big leagues.

To be honest, I really have no experience with Dimeplayer and they may be a terrific book and chances are they are, but I would still be VERY cautious and proceed slowly with them because they after all a very very young book trying to gain a niche in the offshore world.

Don't know how true but I heard they are operating under some form of the same liscense as PanAm did!

Not sure Jimmy, and even so, I am not sure if that is reason to condemn them.

What do you think?

Fishy,
I might be wrong but I heard this shop owes over 50 dimes to certain bonus players! Also they are in Panama using some form of liscense that Pan Am did! But then I read they have something to do with Legendz which is a good thing! So I'm confused so I guess the best thing to do is sit and wait this out for awhile!!

Fish is this more because people were complaining about you calling out SolidPay...?

I'm kidding but from the book's point of view you would think they would have to be a little irked that a mod of the site they paid to advertise on put up a warning thread (kind of like how MW threw a hissy fit when you cautioned Solid).

I agree with you 100 percent...just trying to play Devil's Advocate here.
