A simple Yes /No and Career Academic Math Grade will be suffice :toothless

:notiz: 10/3.1667 = 3.1579
Average 3.1579 and 3.1667. (3.1579 + 3.1667)/2 = 3.1623

Square root , root canal, whats the difference?:toothless

I'm terrible at math. I can figure out my own finances because I have an interest in my money.

Frankly though...I don't really give a **** what X(6y)*4x equals.

I got a D+ in Algebra 1...and failed Algebra 2 in HS simply because I couldn't pay attention and spent more time reading football and basketball publications and the newspaper. (yes...during class)

My geometry teacher used to let me sit in the back of the room and listen to the radio while she taught the rest of the class. I used to watch the March madness basketball games in the principals office and sometimes in the chemical closet (room).

Did ok in HS math, A LOT better in mathin college...Finite Math and Statistics both were high B's, and A's.

Took Business Calc and got an A in that too, although if it were regular calculus, i may have been in trouble.

The only math class that applies to my sports betting is Probability and Statistics, which I also Aced...

Now if we talk about other subjects, they weren't all this good, lol...

I did well enough in math to work in finance for Uncle Sam and work in Coordinate Measuring for a few years. I have forgotten alot, but like playing guitar, a little study brings alot back. I am no ACE for sure. I preach to my kids to study math harder than any subject. Math runs the world.

Incidentally, the hardest course I ever took was Organic Chemistry...

I had to cheat my way to a C or I'd have flunked it...

Had a horrific time with Accounting for some reason, didn't help that it was taught to 1200 students at once in the Follenger Auditorium at U of I, totally impersonal and one of the few classes I would never want to retake again.

LOVED my Civil War and Reconstruction class though, a shame i didn't learn a thing though, i knew everything he taught before i took the class, was fun though! Always aced history, got 16 hours of AP credit for Us and European history before i began college, thus i was able to coast on 12 hours almost every single semester!

AP CREDIT RULES!

Me too. Was on the Math Team, competitive meets and all.
Beofre you bash, also lettered in Tennis.

Still remeber my best math teacher, E. Scott Brown.

His motto was "if you learn to understand the problem, and solve it proerly, you will always get the correct answers" i.e no shortcuts.

My 9 year old son is failing school and has decided to take gambling courses.

Top 10 signs your 9-year-old son is gambling....

10. He's been rolling his brother's blocks and yelling "Seven-come-eleven!"

9. His backyard merry-go-'round has the numbers 1 through 36 written on it, plus a 0 and a 00.

8. While playing "Go Fish" he tried to double down.

7. He posted a line on his 4th grade spelling bee.

6. While the rest of his class is learning multiplication tables, he knows how to convert moneylines into must-win percentages.

5. The Golden Nugget sent him free airline tickets.

4. The last time your family ate at McDonald's it was comped.

3. He recently bought a $2,995 suit.

2. He knows way-y-y too much about NFL yards-per-point differentials.

And the Number One sign that your 9-year-old is gambling....

1. He's dating a stripper.
