Yeah. Most times in this spot if I like the total either way I will buy a half run to get the juice on my side instead of the side of the books. You just risk a push but the odds are minimal and the return is worth the risk.

The line on the total at my book was 6.5 over -110. What I did, and what you can do at most online books is buy runs. So I bought a half run and played 7 over +120. So, for example, instead of wagering $110 to win $100 on the over 6.5 you can wager $100 to win $120 on the over 7. $10 less risk for a $20 bigger payout. The only difference in risk between the 2 bets is I could have pushed if the total finished at 7 total runs, which has a real low percentage of occurring. Hope that helps.

I usually buy pts/runs the other way but the juice kills if it doesnt hit (aside from alt RLs never thought of it this way) but when the play is solid this is the way to go. Thanks for the insight and the orig OVER post too, cheers

(<)<Every advantage we can get on the books the better. The difference between -110 & +120 may not seem like alot but it does add up to a large sum over time.
