Sorry, I cut and pasted this from my original thread because I had the wrong title on the original. I'm not trying to intentionally double post here.
Well I've been debating this for days and I have finally made up my mind. Everyone has pretty compelling arguments for each side. Here are the things that finally pushed me over to one side.
First, the conferences:
Big 12 vs. SEC
Well, the letter B comes before the letter S. Therefore Big 12 will finish first. Big, as in Big 12, is a good thing. People always say bigger is better right? SEC is short for "second", as in, finishing second.
Next, the teams.
Oklahoma's abbreviation is OK. When something is OK, it is considered good. Florida's abbreviation is FL which is the first two letter of flunk, which isn't good. Oklahoma is called the Sooners. This means they will win a big game sooner or later, right? Why not this one?
In all seriousness though, I think most ppl on here are really underestimating OK.
I am taking Okalahoma +whatever it is before the game as I will be waiting to place my bet.
