soon 6.5 will be impossible to find, you can still get 6.5 -105 at www.betvegasvic.com.

this is way too many points for an eastern team travelling west to BC, even if it is the 1 loss alouettes.

I live in Vancouver and whilst I won't say I'm that knowledged on CFL I do watch the BC games and this year they've been horrible.

Traditionally whatever record the Alouettes bring in BC will beat them but this BC team is a transition team that basically doesn't know what they're doing. Of their 3 wins they could easily have lost 2 of them to the Argos (yes the argos!) but for a late rally and against the roughtriders who played a terrible game that night and only just lost. So BC could easily be 1-7 right now.

BC's inability to stop the run was a huge issue last game and all teams will be pressing that until BC get that area sorted out (not sure they have the personnel to do it). Montreal has a lot more weapons than the other eastern teams that have come in to BC and kicked BC's butt. That stat of eastern teams in BC was valid when BC was a decent team but they are finding their way and QB confidence s very low. One hit and Pierce will be out and then JJ is hit or miss (normally miss).

Whilst i'd agree with you that 6.5 points for a Buono team at home in BC is a lot, this team is a shambles right now. But for the by week and the chance for BC to coach out some areas of problems I'd say Montreal would easily cover but as it is i wouldn't play as BC would have to improve greatly to cover and the rest/Buono may help them do it but I wouldn't bank on it.

well, if I am not correct in the play, at least I was correct in the value, eh "valuman" lol.

6.5 is no longer available, in fact I saw montreal -6 +110 today at pinnacle, so anyone who played BC could now buy back on Montreal for a free shot.

The good news is, at least one of us will be right.

I was not saying I would play Montreal but just informing those of you that don't get to watch the games in the US that BC is not the team of last year and how badly they've been playing.

You have the "value" I suppose but its not an earth shattering line move so pretty marginal value if that.

valueman does bring up excellent points on the performance of BC thus far this year....

one thing he might be overlooking however is "motivation" one team looking to save their season, while another will almost definatly be first in the east wether they win or lose this contest.

You make a valid point about motivation but BC were motivated last game to bring the season back to 500 but agreed at 6.5 you have the value.
Hope that BC can improve - we're not used to seeing this team this bad.

Good Luck!

incidentally, there is definitely some resistance at 5, in fact most books are back to 5.5.

for those that like Montreal, our friends at Betphoenix still have -5 -105.

fwiw, montreal has not won in BC since 2000, so maybe they will have more motivation to break that streak than I thought. Or maybe the streak continues.

Only time will tell

Montreal and BC are both coming off bye weeks - That means over 50% of the teams would be travelling back to their home towns - then back to their playing towns - Montreal then has to travel across country.

So lots of travel for the montreal team is what I am trying to say.

Also both coaches like to milk leads and pound the ball at the end of games a second half under play would be a good way to go.

10-7 BC going into the second half, chance now for a big middle play, hopefully fatigue kicks in for the alouettes in the 2nd half.

took a bit on the alouettes -4 +108 for the 2nd half, Montreal's TD was scored on a punt attempt by BC that was snapped over the kickers head, and wound up being recoverd by montreal and scoring.
