I would take Zona out of that equation. They got down 21-0 because they had bright eyes on a big stage. After they settled down, they out played Bozo St 30-17. Zona is a notorious slow starting team for the most part. BSU did win the game and they get credit for that, but it was clearly a tale of two halves.
